Interceptor Drones for the Armed Forces: 2025 Results
In 2025, the Defence Procurement Agency achieved 93% of planned centralized deliveries in the interceptor drone segment, significantly boosting unit capabilities against aerial threats — from holding the frontline to securing rear areas.
By December alone, the Agency had reached an average daily supply rate of 950 anti‑Shahed drones.
The DOT‑Chain Defence weapons marketplace provided an additional boost: through the platform, units ordered and received over 7,000 tactical‑level interceptor drones, ensuring urgent needs were met without waiting on centralized supply channels.
Today, interceptor drones are a critical element of multi‑layered air defense. They make it possible to:
- Preserve expensive air defense missile resources by employing more cost‑effective strike systems.
- Increase the density of UAV countermeasures without overloading existing air defense systems.
- Provide the frontline with effective tools to protect personnel, equipment, and logistics.
